Since the original article was posted on the 2nd of this month, a few online events have occurred, not the least of which is the apparent public apology of ‘kfc’, the online moniker of the gentleman pictured in the previous article.

I would like to apologize to anyone (mainly the booth babes/models & exhibitors) for any misleading signals or embarrassment that I caused while attending the 2005 Electronic Entertainment Expo. While my intent was not to create any harm, that was unfortunately the outcome of my actions. So again, I am sorry for anything that came as a result of the photographs or actions on my part during my visit to the expo.

If anyone would like to reach me regarding this matter, you know how to contact me. I am willing to help out in whatever way possible in turning this situation around to the best of my ability.

Thanks,
kfc

Now, that’s all well said and done, but the question of whether or not apologizing should negate the way one’s previous actions is viewed and dealt with still comes into play.  A public apology does not inherently grant absolution for one’s deeds, particularly when it comes after threats of legal action have been made against the one making the apology.( For more information on the related legal threats, see this thread: http://genmay.net/showthread.php?t=538676 )
